Can Limewire connect to the internet trought a firewall like Norton? Can someone give me some easy instructions on how to allow Limewire to connect the internet using Norton internet security, because I think that it is blocking it. Norton can be problematic some times with internet security.

I am sure that Limewire is notorious for viral infestation and some other problems, I know from personal experience and from the experiences of friends.
It’s a hackers paradise and as far as I’m aware you have to disable Norton to be able to download from Limewire.
Best avoid it. Hope this help.

You need to open up ports for the app., but as said it’s a MAJOR risk so you’re best to uninstall Limewire

Norton is crap!!! Limewire is awsome!!!
reinstall computer as suggested on website below and you shall never again have problems at all!!!
