I have been (jaded) by the fact that people don't seem to know their internet safety which I was taught by my own parents to remain annonymous in order to not be abused.

1: The first rule of communicating is to not............actually never EVER give out your real name and especally not your address. (home work.etc) or you have no one to blame but yourself if you get traced.

Do NOT give your telephone number (cell phone and Pocket Books apply as well)

Their are people who will take advantage of whatever information they can find and try to harrass/solicitate you.

It's can be bad enough just having a telephone without a computer! :o

They have ways of doing that.

2. Don't even THINK of regestring to forums on computers whom other users may use it and if you do always log off but if possible use your own PC as you can forget to log off one day/night.
